Director of Development, George Mason University School of Management
Rhett Wilson has served a number of institutions in the development and expansion of entrepreneurial and corporate engagement efforts. A resident of the Washington, D.C. area, Wilson currently serves as member of the dean’s leadership team at George Mason University’s School of Management. As director of development, Wilson is responsible for managing a $20 Million campaign in addition to the business school’s corporate, donor and alumni relations team.
Prior to his role at George Mason, Rhett served as the director of corporate relations at Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business. Rhett was recognized in 2009 as one of the Forty Under Forty by the Phoenix Business Journal, endorsed by the Arizona Republic during his bid for the Tempe City Council, and developed an investment banking recruitment platform featured by BusinessWeek in 2006.
Prior to his work in education, Wilson served as one of the youngest elected officials in the United States, as a city councilman in Kearny, Arizona.
